"All around the district I hear people concerned about local jobs so young people won't have to go to Atlanta as soon as they graduate from high school or VSU. Local agriculture and forestry could help with that; reforestation could also decrease some of the flooding we've seen recently. That and promote development and industry close in to existing services, like at least two studies the county has paid for recommended. Sprawl is a sure path to budget deficits, while close-in development promotes community that attracts industry, while preserving the rural character of much of the county."
